Blind faith in an absolute being is much more easily disposed of than my petty middle class ambitions. It has become a daily struggle and one battle I am not sure I'll win.
The worst part is that people close to me are more hurt by my apparent indifference to their preconceived notions of ambition and success than by my lack of faith in a religion or my questioning the existence of a God.
On a good note, at least I know that they have their hearts in the right place - in what they perceive as my well being rather than judge me on what I believe in or rather what I don't believe in.

- I frequently see humor in misery and failure in victories. Hugely competitive, feeds on defeats. Huge ego which concedes defeat when I am right, especially when I am sure I am right. Irritatingly logical in thought and self defeating irrationality in action. Fails often, succeeds brilliantly and then fails again. Introvert trying to come out or an extrovert trying to hide - frequently confused. Day dreamer, sound sleep talker, borderline obese, loves to run. Rock fan, loves Norah Jones, death metal hater. Loves Hindi music, rarely understands lyrics. Loves to talk, loves silence even more. Hates mobile phones, flagship phone-totter. Mechanic, Salesman, Chauffeur, Consultant. Agnostic, Liberal, Romantic, Repressed pop philosopher. A bunch of inconsistencies really.
